Darin DeLouise is a seventh year Hufflepuff at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He grew up in Muggle London, with a Pureblood mother who works at St. Mungo's, and a muggle father who is a well-respected lawyer. Though his mother is a witch, he grew up with little to no knowledge of his magical background. He has one younger sister, Anya, whom he adores to pieces, and he is very overprotective of her; probably to the point of driving her batty at times.

Darin is very much a family person, though. His family is the most important thing in the world to him, followed closely by his friends. Though he is still in school and only really likes to fool around -- he's never had a serious relationship -- he knows that, one day, he wants to settle down and have a family of his own, because there's nothing in the world more gratifying than that. And what he really wants is to know that, when that happens, the world will be a safe place for his family to grow and live and prosper.

Though most people see him as an outgoing, fun, carefree sort of guy, Darin is actually very set in what he wants out of life, and spends a good amount of time working towards that goal. He wants to become an Auror, to help out the Wizarding World as much as he possibly can, because he thinks that it's something worth fighting for. Also: he hates Slytherins. It doesn't really matter the circumstance, he has an unreasonable bias towards them, and sees them as the root cause for everything that is wrong in the Wizarding World today.
